©Gill Billington. All rights reserved. A vintage p-51, ww2 aircraft with a 1967 classic Eleanor Mustang is on the airfield with the Stars and Stripes, the US flag in the background.
The airplane is named Miss Helen and is still flying today despite being built in 1944 and in active service with the 352nd Fighter Group in world war two.
This photograph is available in color but is shown here in black and white to add a touch of nostalgia to this patriotic image.
