©Gill Billington. All rights reserved. End of the line is the end of an era. The rusty old broken rail tracks go over the shingle beach past the derelict old fishing hut to the abandoned boat near the sea.
The days catch from the fishing boats used to be hauled up the rail tracks to the huts where the fish was prepared and then taken by rail to the trucks waiting on the nearby road for transportation to the market. The dramatic sky adds to the mood in this black and white image.
The shape of man-made designs like cars and architecture excite me but I also love nature, from the joy of looking at the ever changing clouds in the sky to the intricate detail that is revealed when getting up close and personal with flowers and seashells. I enjoy producing creative images from my photographs to make stunning artwork for your home or business. I have exhibited my work at The Tudor House Gallery in Sawbridgeworth, The Maynard Gallery in Welwyn Garden City and The Mardleybury Gallery in Datchworth. I also sell my images worldwide via my website here and at GillBillingtonArt.com **ALL PHOTOGRAPHS AND ARTWORKS IN THIS PORTFOLIO ARE COPYRIGHTED AND OWNED BY GILL BILLINGTON.
