Description
©Gill Billington. All rights reserved. Close up detail of the winch and ropes on the deck of the Cutty Sark tea clipper. The ship was built in 1869 and used to transport tea from China, then from 1885 to 1895 it was used to bring wool from Sydney, Australia to London. In 1954 the ship was transferred to dry dock in Greenwich, London and has now been fully restored. This nautical scene would be ideal for a beach house or anyone who loves ships and sailing.
