©Gill Billington. All rights reserved. This classic blue 1969 convertible Mustang 351 with the top down is parked on the airfield next to an iconic vintage blue and silver p51 Mustang airplane from World War Two named Miss Helen.
She was based at RAF Bodney in England from 1945 and saw active service with the 352nd Fighter Group who were known as the Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney, a nickname given to the group as the p-51 had it's nose painted blue.
They were photographed from the rear showing the classic red tail lights on the Mustang. What a glorious hot summers day to go cruising and flying with clear blue skies and just a few fluffy white clouds.
